From a small sample of hair, one can learn about their metabolic rate, immune system function, glandular activity, mineral toxicity levels and more. Like the organs, hair absorbs minerals and trace metals. While blood and urine tests provide only a "snapshot" of the body's current mineral exposure, hair analysis provides a record of exposure over time. The cells that lie deep inside individual strands of hair are a perfectly preserved record of metabolic processes that have been going on for about the past three months.
Minerals are involved in all bodily functions as chemical elements are the basic building blocks of our bodies.
